This is the accessory people skip and regret. Dash cams write continuously in a loop, overwriting old footage all day — a workload that wears out ordinary microSD cards quickly, often failing silently until the day you need a clip.
Buy a card explicitly rated high-endurance, with a U3/V30 speed class for smooth 4K writing. 128GB is a sensible middle ground; go larger only if you run dual channels or want more parking-mode history before it loops.
