Choose high-endurance
Dash cams write continuously, a workload ordinary cards are not built for. Cards labeled high-endurance or specifically for dash cams and surveillance are designed to survive constant overwriting.
Mind the speed class
Look for a U3 or V30 rating so the card keeps up with 4K recording without dropping frames. Slower cards can cause errors or gaps.
Pick a sensible size
